It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad Marge (S11, E21-247)

Their eagerness to mess with Marge did not prepare them for the phrase "seduce Homer".
Plot Summary
The kids at the elementary school are given video cameras for some kind of video related project.  On the bus ride home, Otto decides to take a detour so he can propose to his girlfriend, Becky.  She accepts, and Bart 'graciously' lets them have their wedding at the Simpson house.  The day of the wedding, Becky reveals to Marge that she doesn't like Otto's favorite kind of music: heavy metal.  Marge urges her to have Otto choose between her and his music, and Otto chooses his music, leaving Becky at the altar.  Devastated, Becky doesn't know what to do.  Bart again 'graciously' suggests she stay at the Simpson house and Marge, having ruined Becky's wedding, has no option but to agree.

Becky becomes a family favorite, spending time with Bart and Lisa separately, and makes great food as well.  Marge, however, becomes jealous of Becky's newfound love.  She goes to her sisters to vent, but they reply that Becky could be an usurper, someone who takes a wife's place in a family and then kills the wife.  Becoming rather paranoid, Marge's fears only compound when she realizes that the brakes in her car no longer work.  With the police no help, Marge goes to find Becky and the family.  They're at the ice cream parlor, where Becky announces she'll be moving out soon.  Homer orders an arc-sized ice cream buffet, and in the process chokes himself with ice cream.  Becky goes to perform CPR, and in misunderstanding #1 Marge walks in right at that moment, believes Becky to be kissing Homer, and attempts to assault her before the police ironically go in and arrest Marge, rather quickly as well.

A panel of psychologists find Marge insane after looking into her obsessions with Ringo Starr and God, but Marge makes a run for it.  She sneaks her way into the library where she tries to dig up dirt on Becky, but the only headlines featuring Becky either shine Becky in a positive light, or the one where Marge ruined her wedding.  Feeling sorry for what she did, Marge goes home, but in misunderstanding #2 finds a rather twisted scenes where Lisa and Maggie are locked or caged up, and Homer in S&M gear is about to be stabbed by a dominatrix Becky.  Marge goes in to stop Becky, but its revealed that its just an elaborate scheme Bart set up for his video project.  Marge reveals her assumptions to Becky, Homer reveals that he accidentally drained the brake fluid in her car, and Becky reveals that, yeah, she actually was trying to usurp Marge but didn't want to pay for a grave-diggin shovel so she gave up.  Though the misunderstandings are all cleared up, psychologists come in and shoot Marge full of sleeping dart, though they initially have no effect Homer gets in one knock out shot after Marge suggests he do some Scrubbing & Mopping.

Quick Review
The episode ended in a rather stupid way, but I enjoyed the rest of it rather well.  There were good jokes, minor characters made excellent appearances and the main plot as a whole held up pretty well except the ending of course.

Final Score: 8.1
